Rethinking and shaping the dining experience at Fuku Eatery, the height of the existing space is softened by the Papers Cloud, bringing it to a more intimate, human scale. The installation wraps the room in a quiet presence, its layered sheets gently diffusing light and softening the spatial volume. Sitting beneath the cloud and listening to the subtle rustle of paper creates a surreal sense of suspended time, as if the space itself is breathing. Light filters through in shifting patterns, casting dappled shadows across surfaces, evoking the experience of sitting under a tree on a sunny, breezy day. The result is a space that feels simultaneously expansive and personal, inviting diners to slow down, linger, and connect with both the environment and each other.
